After receiving a safety brief and paddling instructions, join our highly trained kayaking guides gliding along the magnificent shoreline of Fitzroy Island and learning about the abundance of marine life that call the waters of Fitzroy Island home.

Your day includes:

3 hours guided sea kayaking tour with all tuition
Packed lunch e.g. chicken and salad wrap, ham and cheese roll, piece of seasonal fruit, energy fruit bar, drink and bottle of water. Vegetarian and gluten free option available on request at time of booking
Snorkeling equipment including mask, flippers and stinger suit
Use of the ocean trampoline (seasonal)
Return ferry transfers
Half day at leisure to explore Fitzroy Island

Ideally you will kayak to Little Fitzroy Island where you can enjoy a guided walk up to the island’s lighthouse and snorkel some of the best spots surrounding the island, however this trip is subject to minimum numbers and weather conditions.

Our minimum age is 14 years as there is a fair bit of paddling involved which can be tiring for younger adventurers.

Sea kayaking is not suitable for any mums-to-be who are pregnant.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

If you or your agent cancel your tour MORE THAN 48 HOURS before the tour is to be provided, the price paid will be refunded in full.

If you or your agent cancel your tour LESS THAN 48 HOURS before the tour is to be provided, the total price paid will be forfeited.

If you or your agent cancel a package containing two or more tours LESS THAN 7 DAYS before the first tour is to be provided, the total price paid will be forfeited.

MISSING A TOUR DEPARTURE

If you miss a tour departure from a fixed location (such as the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal) then you will be listed as having "failed to load".

This incurs a 100% cancellation fee unless you are able to reschedule for another day and pay the additional rescheduling fee. Prices are shown below as per person :
- $10 Fitzroy Island Transfers Only
- $15 Fitzroy Island Transfers with Lunch
- $15 Fitzroy Half Day Sea Kayaking
- $15 Fitzroy Island Activity Pass 1 with Lunch
- $15 Fitzroy Island Activity Pass 2 with Lunch
These rescheduling charges are applied to cover items such as staffing, levies, meals (where applicable) and administration charges.

MISSING A BUS PICKUP
If you are not waiting at the pickup point for the coach service to collect you at the date and time specified in your booking, then you will be listed as having "failed to load".

This incurs a 100% cancellation fee unless it is one of the tours listed below, for which a separate rescheduling fee applies. Prices are shown below as per person :
- $50 Tully River Rafting and Xtreme Tully Rafting
- $25 Barron River Rafting
- $50 Tablelands Ballooning

These rescheduling charges are applied to cover items such as staffing, levies, meals (where applicable) and administration charges.

PRICING
Prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST where applicable. Prices do not include transport between your home port and destination and return, items of a personal nature (eg telephone calls, alcoholic beverages, gratuities), meals and the like, unless specifically stated. Some tours attract a pay on board levy.
